1stly ... where is your balsto? didnt see the balsto one. hehe....
and 150w is enough for clam with your 2 footer tank.
so dont worry. even if you put at the sand bed it will be fine.
clams if you put it on top dont look nice. haha.

Hi! Desi, Nice tank, i guess the hard work did pay off ah!...try feeding your sun coral near of tip of the mouth, the polyp will open like "sun flower"...

hi there sorry for my late replay, ok so you want to know wat skimmer to use, well basically i am running an air lift skimmer not those with pumps, basically skimmers are used to remove unwanted waste from the tanks which is good, its a bit difficult to explain how it works best do a search on the web, ok since you have corals now, it depends, you dont need a skimmer unless you regularly change your water every single week that would be fine but for me i dont really have time to change my tank water every week, i only change it maybe 1 or 2 times a month as i have skimmer & a refugium at the back, so from my suggestions if you dont change water every week best get a skimmer, you can go to the LFS to check out wat skimmer they have, the ones with pumps are good as not much maintanence an produces constant bubbles as for air skimmer i have to change the wood difuser every few months to have constant air bubbles, hope this helps

hi dannism, your sun coral is looking good, yeah i do that too by feeding them but they have moods, i always feed them during day but most of the time it comes out at night
